Biography of Margo
Born and raised in Sacramento, California, Margo started her art career at
age four when she won an art competition, the cover of a children’s magazine.
She moved to former Fort Ord to obtain her degree in Public Art at California
State University, Monterey Bay. Although she has travelled to Canada, Europe,
and Mexico, she is inspired and mesmerized by the landscape and life on the
central coast of California. Margo is a nationally recognized artist.  She is
a multi-faceted artist that works in encaustic, acrylic, water color, photography
and also creates spaces for communities as a muralist. Her community is important
to her and continues to weave her creative soul within the world around her.
